GROW YOUR ROOTS

"Sense your feet growing deep roots, like a tree." Being grounded is a process that helps you to energetically and physically connect deeper to the healing frequencies of the Earth.

HOW DO YOU KNOW IF YOU ARE NOT GROUNDED?


If you’re ungrounded you may experience:

  • Brain fog

  • Scattered thoughts

  • Confusion

  • Anxiety

  • Overwhelm

  • Stress

  • Increased pain

  • Feel a sense of disconnection

  • Feel overly emotional Be aware and when you feel your energy slipping into a state of being ungrounded try this exercise to bring you back into a present, grounded state.


GROW YOUR ROOTS EXERCISE

Begin, by standing with your feet slightly apart and make sure your weight is centered.

Take a few deep breaths and drop into your body. Imagine your feet are growing deep roots like a tree. Try to grow your roots as big and strong as you can. Once you've visualized these strong roots, connect them to the Earth by sending them downward. You want to anchor your roots as deep into the Earth as you can. Take your roots all the way down to the center of the Earth and imagine wrapping them around the Earth's core three times. Take a few deep belly breaths as you feel deeply connected to Mother Earth's energy. Spend as much as you need, and when you are ready slowly come back to the room by wiggling you toes, rubbing the tops of your legs, and opening your eyes. Now, check in with your body and see how you feel? Did anything change? When you are grounded and centered you may feel:


  • Safe, secure and stable

  • A sense of belonging

  • Balanced mood and emotions

  • More energy and vitality

  • Lowered pain levels

  • Improved sleep

  • Less triggered others

  • A state of peace and calm

  • Physically lighter Now, take a few moments and write your experience with this exercise in your journal.
